Life Lessons| Create Happy Moments

This 12 month period has being of growing, learning, accepting and most of all of knowing who I am, what I’m capable of and how blessed I am.

Being a mother of an Asperger’s syndrome boy gives you a new perspective in life. I really don’t know who is more blessed, my magnificent boy or me.

I don’t know who is the teacher, the kids or the parents. In my case I have 2 teachers that show me every day that being happy,  have fun and joy in life is more important than work, or paying bills. All this  is not as important as having time with your kids or family. Problems, troubles and responsibilities we will have all along our life, but family is the most important thing in the world. For me my boys are the reason why I get up every day and go to work, and at night when I’m so tired, I just look at them while sleeping and see how blessed I am. I might not get huge presents all year-long but seeing my boys every day and being able to provide for them, is a huge blessing. They are my present 365 days a year and I feel so blessed about it.

Last week my little one told me very sad that he didn’t remember his childhood. He is 9 and doesn’t remember when he was little. I always knew Asperger’s kids have trouble remembering but it was not clear for me how much. I ended showing his baby pictures and he was happy. But this is something that has made me think a lot.

A happy life is a chain of happy memories, there is not a perfect moment, we create the perfect moments with our thoughts and even with our attitude, we make them. If we are just waiting for the perfect moment to come to make your move and say hi to the love of your life, it may never come. You need to be attuned with the universe to know when it comes, to know when to act, just like the people who love to surf they feel and know when the perfect wave is coming, life is like that, you need to be in the present, living each moment fully and happy, because as my kid show me, memorizes can be lost or forgotten. A picture will help you remember all the joy you have in your life.

Don’t wait for the perfect moment because it may never come, don’t wait for the perfect day, just  create your  perfect day by your attitude, by being attune with the Universe, by being happy, by feeling safe, by feeling proud and by loving and accepting yourself. This is how I teach my boys to be, sometimes stress and worries come but when I make a mistake I apologize for being grumpy or tiered or not fun as they need me to be, but there is no day without me expressing my love to them.

Create good memories for your family, every action is important. Actions speak louder than words. And always be Happy!

Namaste!

Life is like a highway | A highway to success

I remember when I had the opportunity to be on the road, sometimes for pleasure, adventure, while attending university or commute to work. I learned a lot just by looking at the road and to see how others drive and the reactions they have.
Life is like a highway or street where you see a lot of signs but in life those signs are people, experiences determined by our choices. Recently I had to make some choices and go back to the work force. I had the opportunity  to choose and let my intuition guide me , I got a temp job for the summer and one that can give the experiences I need for my next career step. I have learned a lot, more than I think of. About me, about life and about people.

I remember few weeks back when I had a bad experience at work, sometimes we face challenges or people trying to put us down, or a mean boss or jealous coworker or boss that they believe they are better and they deserve everything. I didn’t quit back then, I just accepted the challenge, you see, sometimes these people come like blessings in disguise and when we finish learning what we need to learn, a new door will open, a new opportunity will come your way and that’s what happened to me.

You just need to keep your eyes, mind and heart open and let your inner self, your intuition guide you to the next step. I know that sometimes we fear the unknown, we think the worst, or we are so attached to the job we have even though we feel is killing us inside because we think and believe that’s the only job or choice we can have. You know, when you feel this way, it’s your time to let go and take a walk through nature, see the sky, meditate, get your mind out of it. When you have your mind clear,  you will be surprised that there are so many things you can do as a job, you just need to find your gift, your talent. Don’t quit on your dream and believe in yourself because good things always happen. You might be driving though a storm, learn to appreciate it and see the beauty of cloudy days, the rain falling, or the sand storm, there’s beauty in all. And when you mentally  let go,  you will see the doors of a new opportunity open, you just need to believe.

Next time you are on the road or commute to work, see how you drive, what reactions you have with other cars, are you letting everybody pass you? Are you driving like if you were alone on the road, are you scared while driving? Do you feel joy when you face the other cars and pass them?

Our life is a reflection of us, pay attention if you are getting sick a lot just by going to work, or if many things around your home are breaking down, or not working, like your car, or the air conditioning, or your car battery, or your relationship, it’s time for you to sit and think what are you doing wrong. Nobody will have the answer, just you and you need to think , choose and decide wisely. And if you make a mistake, don’t worry, mistakes are lessons we all need to learn and there’s always a second time to do it better. Don’t forget to use the magic word, Sorry, you don’t have any idea how much weight is lifted when you ask for forgiveness and don’t forget to forgive because that is the way we heal ourselves.

Life is just an extraordinary adventure that takes us through ups and downs, through happy moments or sad moments, nothing is forever and life has many lessons for us to learn. Life is our journey to find ourselves, if we let our intuition guide us. Just open your eyes while you drive through life and choose the right highway to happiness and success because it will be waiting for you.

To your success,

Kinsky

How to Grow Your Business as a Published Author… and Impact More Lives With Your Message

Have you dreamed of writing a book or becoming a successful published author? Do you have a valuable message that – if put in print – will help grow your business and transform more lives? If you answered yes, but don’t have your book written yet… keep reading!

There has never been a better time to write your book and become an author. The opportunities available for authors in the 21st Century are endless. Yet, the majority of entrepreneurs who say they want to write a book don’t actually do it. Why? Based on more than 900 responses to a recent survey by Transformational Book Coach, Christine Kloser, aspiring authors revealed what holds them back.

Most authors don’t know where to start or what to do first. They are overwhelmed with too much information and not enough action. Sometimes things like fear and doubt creep in. Other times, its confusion, lack of clarity or confidence that can stop an author in their tracks. Another big challenge for authors is feeling like their book has already been written… by somebody else.

Not to mention the maze of information out there about writing and publishing a book. Is it best to self-publish or try to get an agent and sell your manuscript? How important is it to build your platform? What are the first things to do to start writing your book? How can you leverage your book to grow your business? What do you do about “writer’s block?” How much will it cost to publish?

The questions facing an aspiring author can be endless and the answers are often times confusing. But, it doesn’t have to be that way. There are great people out there who want to help you write your BEST book, who are interested in your message and your success more than they’re interested in your money.

And it’s absolutely possible to write your book in a way that is easy, joyful and fun – without wasting your precious time, money or energy going in circles. It’s also possible your book will bring about profound personal, professional, and even planetary transformation. Consider this…

Throughout history; books have played a critical role in impacting readers to create positive changes in their lives. Seeing that individual transformation impacts global transformation – it can be said the books truly do have the power to transform the world. And YOUR book can be one of those books that transforms lives forever.

Find the blessings in desguise in your life | Find the opportunity in every experience

I was listening to one of my favorite YouTube channels and I had to stop because I didn’t agree on their point of view.

One of the things that they were saying is that when you are disconnected from yourself you don’t know where you are and I said, that’s right! How many of us had the privilege of knowing who we are or to know our purpose? I didn’t. I was blind and as  many people I went through life just crashing in to many  experiences and without knowing what was the best thing to choose.

I had the wonderful experience to go to University and study what I love, but it took me months to discover my true calling and one of my first passions in life: colors and communication.  I remember after High School I spend days just trying to figure out what was my next step in life. My dad was a very wise man and he gave me a little push and told me that I had to go to work, so I start looking for a job and I remember filling out an application and writing all my studies and I had one of my fist aha moments when I realize I could work on my second passion: teaching. And 2 days later one of my best friends of school calls me to lets me know about an opening in a school for me to teach.  When I told my dad, he was very happy and proud. It was a great experience and it helped me to know and to be more clear to what I wanted in life. Study Graphic Design.

It was challenging but very rewarding to be able to graduate and I just can’t stop designing, You see, one of the things that my dad taught me is that I had to find something that could make me very happy and love working on  it. And that same thing I teach my boys to find their passion and work on it.

But my life was not all roses, my life was like a rose itself, with thorns and exquisite smell that when I was able to take the thorns out, the perfume is still present in my life.

I could be writing and making you cry of all my misadventures, but I realize that my purpose is to be able to put a smile in your face and bring back hope in your life. Thanks to my out bring I’ve being able to live my duality and find the blessings in disguise in  my life and work in me to become who I am.

My mom is a very important part of this, she was an alcoholic, when I was 8 years old she tried to kill herself with pills. All is vague but I remember most of it and later on she became alcoholic. Growing up with her was hard and heartbreaking because you see how one of the people you love the most in the world destroys herself and there was nothing I could do.  My dad and the rest of my brothers and sister didn’t want to recognized the problem, they just ignored it till they saw it coming many years later.

My mom even though she had that problem she was an amazing person. She was funny, caring and one of the things she taught me the most was forgiveness. I was able to heal and forgive her before I got married and came to America.  She cared a lot for me and my boys and supported me all the way. I lost her in 2009, all those years drinking had cause her body to develop cancer and a tumor from the throat  down to the stomach and in a month we lost her. She gave us enough time to make peace and prepare for her departure.

She was waiting for me, she had lost her voice and even though she wanted to ask for forgiveness,  I already had, I understood her completely, loved her and told her that she was the mother I needed. My mom helped me to become who I am today. And those years when I saw her drunk I promised myself I was going to be a better mom for my kids, I was not going to hurt them as my mom did. Now that I have my own kids, I was not going to drink at all. I don’t drink at all, I’m always the designated driver. My ex husband used to drink heavily, I realize that sometimes you choose unconsciously what you are used to. Now I realized I tried to “save” him. One of my lessons with him was that I couldn’t rescue anyone who didn’t want to be rescued.

We all have our own timing and we all need to make our own decisions. It’s not that there is a book written with all the things that we have to live or suffer. We are writing the book of our lives every day, every moment, with our actions, with our words and with our feelings.

Life is like school, we all are learning, our experiences are the ones that show us how we are doing and our consequences are the blessings in disguise. It is hard to figure out what to do and where to go if we keep ignoring our intuition, our heart and our head. They will tell you the right way if you listen carefully and I can tell you that sometimes you hear a whisper from a tinny  a voice telling you the right path, it is when you need to turn on  your ears and listen. That is why going out to be in touch with Nature helps you to listen better, meditation, yoga or tai chi are very helpful as well.

For me growing up with my mom was challenging but I thank her for that. She is in heaven now, but I know when I have my challenges I always dream about her and she is supporting, cheering  and caring.  I might not be able to listen to her or hug her, but she is here with me and I’m thankful for that.

We all have our battles, our challenges and we are not going to learn from them till we make peace with them, until we forgive, until we decide to let that dark past stay in the past. We can’t rebuild the present with the ashes of the past, we need to start a new beginning and that is why we have a new day every day, a new opportunity to be happy, to be grateful, to feel the love inside and out of us because we are the creators of our lives, we are the architects of our own destiny and only you will know what is right for you, only you will know the right answer and as my teachers told me once, ” you are the responsible of our own destiny, no one is going to walk your footsteps or make your own path”. We are the ones who leave our footstep behind us. And my question for you is: What kind of footstep you want to leave behind?”

Forgive yourself, forgive others, forgive your past,  find the peace inside of you so you can build a castle you are proud of, a legacy to your kids and family. That is our main purpose in life.

With love and light

Life is a roller coaster | Choose Happiness Always!

Today I was chatting to a dear friend and we were talking about that this year everywhere you see, people are having some challenges. They can be economic, family or personal , but everybody has something going on.

As I recall last year 2012 was an end of a cycle and this year is a beginning of a new one, who knew that we all have to create, our own world our own reality and be responsible for our own actions, face our fears, and reborn from the ashes.

My life is a Great teacher, I have learned to be open and to listen. It’s hard to be a single mom and see that everybody has their own problems and issues, I have mine and sometimes are plenty, but I don’t like to live my life just focusing on my challenges, but on all the amazing opportunities life gives me, in all the lessons that I have from life, in all the incredible things that people teach me.
And in all the surprises that I have in life just by letting go and forgiveness.

I never knew that I would be friends again with the guy that abuse me in to expansion and thanks to him I am the person who I am today. After all he is the father of my boys. It took me 5 years to heal and forgive him and for sake of my boys we are friends. And is nice to see how he is trying to be a good dad for them.

You see, life can present us with something so huge that we might think we are not able to handle, but sometimes life brings us a huge lesson or a blessing in disguise. Or sometimes life asks us to get out of our comfort zone and try something new, like a change of careers, a new stage in our life or a new relationship.

What I have learned is that whatever that is that life brings, a heart full of hope, faith and detachment is the best medicine there is. It’s a tricky balance to let go of any results you want or what you want to manifest or to bring about and to know that you will received it.

I am still learning to balance in life, to bring about prosperity, abundance and happiness to my family and these same things I wish for you.

Life is an adventure with ups and downs, turns and twists, where time goes so fast that when you realize is one more day, week and year, and the only gift we have is the present, the NOW, where we all need to feel the joy and happiness of being alive and the peace that everything will be alright.

And when rough times come knocking at your door, stay calm, breath and imagine this whole magnificent world supporting you, because that is how it is. We create our own reality and we better create something to be proud of, something to be happy about that will help us to cherish moments with our family, kids and the world.

Just remind yourself that you are in charge of how you feel today and that today and always you will choose happiness.

LOVE is Always the Answer

Happiness depends upon ourselves. Aristotle

Happiness depends upon ourselves.
Aristotle

Once again we were remained about how fragile our lives are and how we can lose someone we love with a blink of an eye. And our instinct, our first emotion is to deal fear.
When we place ourselves in that place full of it

, we become weak, insecure and we let open the door to all negative emotions, and believe it or not, they can destroy our individual world.
We all are creators of our own realities, of our own lives, our own dreams and purpose and being happy depend on the realization of all of them.
These times are times to show off our courage, our love, and our happiness. We all need to feel that Love create us, and yes, it is painful what happened but sometimes we need to get up, take off the dirt and move on.
Because whatever your religion or your faith you need to feel that we all are safe and build positive, caring and loving thoughts around us as well as those who got harmed in Boston.
And when you feel sad, or have fear, know that you are safe always, no matter what. We are safe and there is a world and a human brotherhood who supports you, because even in this situation good people came to rescue.
And it all depends on how you see your life, half empty or half full. The decision is yours.
